Cashless payment: Wechat pay
WeChat Pay, also starts with registering from Google or iOS.
(1) Then register an account.
(2) In the “Service” section, choose “Card.”
(3) Note that if you are not in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, or Mainland China, “ID Card” means passport.
(4) Fill in all the required information, and you will be asked to deduct about $5 for verification. This will be returned within 30 days.
(5) If you still get a prompt for verification in the “Wallet,” tap in and click on “ID Info” to verify.
(6) Once your account and card number are verified, you can use WeChat Pay for payments.
(7) If a card number cannot be verified successfully, you can try another one. If you try multiple times and still can’t verify, and you have no more cards, we suggest you ensure the Alipay verification is successful, as this is enough for you to complete payments in any region of China.
